Sustainability Report

The report presents Hellenic Cables' 2024 sustainability statement under ESRS, covering its consolidated cables-business scope and full value chain. It reports a 25% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions and an 11% reduction in Scope 3 against the 2020 baseline, alongside SBTi-validated 2030 targets and a net-zero ambition before 2050. Two wind PPAs secured in 2024 are expected to cover more than 80% of annual electricity needs, while the workforce reached 2,837 direct and indirect workers and health and safety training reached 23.7 hours per employee.
