Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is Central Asia Metals' first standalone annual Sustainability Report and covers the Sasa mine, Kounrad operation and, where relevant, the London head office for the 2019 financial year. It reports a Group LTIFR of 0.42, no fatalities at either operation under CAML's ownership, and zero air-quality exceedances and significant spills in 2019. Environmental highlights include Sasa's net water consumption of 1,065 ML and Kounrad's total water consumption of 613 ML.
