Social and Environmental Report

The report describes Central Glass's FY2010 environmental and safety performance, including a 34.0% reduction in CO2 emissions from FY1990 at its main plants and seven lost-time accidents group-wide. It also presents group-wide environmental management, waste-reduction, chemical-safety, and disaster-prevention activities. Social disclosures cover workforce diversity, employment of women and people with disabilities, next-generation support, community dialogue, and overseas volunteer afforestation.
