Annual Report

The report describes a company-wide sustainable development approach spanning cultural diversity, social equity, environmental quality and economic sufficiency, supported by a CSR policy and central sustainable development committee. It highlights community education, healthcare, disaster relief, farmer development and human-resources programmes in 2012. Environmental actions included wastewater reuse, biogas and recycling, energy-saving technologies, and EarthCheck benchmarking across Centara properties. The Group reported ten properties with EarthCheck Bronze or Silver status.
