The report presents CPF's sustainability strategy through three pillars: Food Security, Self-Sufficient Society and Balance of Nature. In 2016, the company helped more than 180,000 children and youth improve food access and expanded its Sustainable Sourcing Policy to more than 7,100 business partners. It also set 2020 targets to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions and energy consumption per production unit by 5%, water consumption by 10% and waste by 30% from the 2015 base year. The report aligns these activities with nine Sustainable Development Goals, including hunger, health, clean water, decent work, responsible production and climate action.
