Sustainability Report

The report describes Chemring's 2024 sustainability performance across environment, safety, people and governance. Group market-based Scope 1 and 2 emissions were 15,161 CO2e (tonnes), while total energy consumption was 127,732 MWh and 78% of electricity came from renewable sources. The company reported 941,294m3 of freshwater use and 5,246 tonnes of waste, with 86% of waste diverted from landfill or incineration. Chemring revised its Scope 1 and 2 market-based net-zero target to 2035, and ERM CVS provided limited assurance over selected emissions data.
