Corporate Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes Chevron's 2007 corporate responsibility performance across socioeconomic, environmental and climate topics. Highlights include $119 million invested in community engagement, a 27 percent improvement in energy efficiency since 1992, and 60.7 million metric tons of GHG emissions, below the 63.5 million metric ton goal. It also reports 17 workforce fatalities and deployment of the ESHIA process across new capital projects. LRQA reviewed the HES reporting processes.
