ESG Report

The report presents the company’s 2021 environmental, social, and governance performance across its operations and subsidiaries. It sets a group target to reduce carbon emissions by 27% by 2030 against a 2017 benchmark and reports 28,528 GJ of energy conservation and 2,741 tonnes of CO2e reduction. The report also covers a 908-person workforce, materiality assessment, ESG Committee oversight, extensive safety and social-participation programs, and SASB and TCFD application. An independent BSI statement concludes that the report fairly represents CGPC’s ESG programs and performance.
