Overview

The report describes a consolidated sustainability scope covering CMB's head office, domestic and overseas branches, major subsidiaries and joint ventures. It reports green-loan balance of RMB 355.357 billion and 2022 Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 1.02 and 24.78 ten thousand tons of CO2 equivalent, respectively. It also reports 112,999 employees, zero work-related deaths, and total water consumption of 188.46 ten thousand tons. Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP provided limited assurance over selected sustainability data.
