Environmental, Social And Governance (ESG) Report

Overview

The report presents CNBM's 2024 group-wide ESG performance across environmental, social and governance topics. It reports 157.35 million tonnes of Scope 1 emissions, 9.78 million tonnes of Scope 2 emissions and 53.26 million tonnes of Scope 3 emissions. A first Scope 3 inventory covered six categories, including purchased goods and services, fuel- and energy-related activities, business travel, employee commuting, and upstream and downstream transportation. The report also describes Board-led ESG governance, annual materiality assessment, supply-chain oversight and workforce initiatives.
