Overview

The report describes CPIC's 2022 sustainability activities across insurance, investment, operations and social programs. It presents a board-led ESG governance structure with a Board of Directors and ESG committees, and reports 21.4% female directors. Climate disclosures quantify 5,027 tons of Scope 1 and 77,739 tons of Scope 2 GHG emissions, while green insurance coverage exceeded RMB 8 trillion and green investment RMB 150 billion. The workforce totaled 110,862 employees.
