Overview

The report presents China Steel Corporation's 2019 sustainability performance across climate, energy, water, waste and workforce topics. Scope 1 emissions were 20,351,815 tCO2e and Scope 3 emissions were 11,434,160 tCO2e, while CSC Solar reached 83.2MW of contracted photovoltaic capacity. Waste treatment output totaled 664,106.2 tonnes, with the report also highlighting extensive recycling and water-reuse programs. BSI independently assured the report's waste management, air pollutants and water disclosures.
