Overview

The report describes China Telecom's 2014 sustainability performance through dedicated human-resources and corporate-social-responsibility sections. It reports approximately 800 million kilowatt-hours of electricity savings through energy monitoring, energy-performance contracting and equipment upgrades. The Group had 300,960 employees and delivered extensive capability-building, including training for more than 8,000 managers, 27,000 shop managers and over 21,000 rural bureau secretaries.
