Annual Report

The report describes China Unicom's 2014 social-responsibility activities, including an RMB800 million fund for energy-saving technologies and recycling that generated RMB270 million in income. Its Village Coverage project brought phone coverage to 201 natural villages and broadband coverage to 1,711 administrative villages. The report also says the company recorded zero accidents during the year and continued poverty-relief and community programs.
