Sustainability Report

The report highlights progress in the company's cocoa-sourcing program: Ghana's entire cocoa-bean supply chain was fully verified by the start of the 2016/2017 cocoa season, and 57% of cocoa beans sourced were traceable and verified. It reports 20% lower CO2 emissions per ton produced and a 16% reduction in energy consumption per ton since 2008, both excluding Russell Stover. The report also describes efforts on employee safety, supplier practices, water and waste efficiency, and sustainability oversight by a Board committee.
