Overview

The report presents Cisco's FY10 CSR strategy and performance across governance, people, environmental management, value-chain sustainability, and community investment. It reports more than 70,700 employees at year-end and gross Scope 1 emissions of 53,363 metric tonne CO2e. Renewable sources made up 27 percent of total energy use, while Cisco continued working toward its 25 percent worldwide Scope 1, 2, and business-air-travel Scope 3 reduction goal by 2012. Social highlights included US$138.7 million in corporate and foundation cash and in-kind contributions and 148,355 employee volunteer hours.
