The report presents Citycon's 2018 sustainability performance across its shopping-centre portfolio, including 296,999 MWh of total energy consumption and 100% renewable electricity for own consumption. It reports 40,214 tCO2e of total market-based GHG emissions, including 1,498 tCO2e of Scope 3 emissions. Waste generated totaled 20,360 t, while the report also highlights 83% BREEAM In-Use certification and a 98% recycling rate. Citycon reiterates its objective to become carbon neutral by 2030.
