Overview

We started as researchers ourselves, so we know how much time goes into collecting reports by hand. Over the past year, we’ve worked with researchers at leading business schools to build the report collections and datasets their projects need. We support researchers, PhD students and university libraries, from the original disclosures to data built around a specific research question.

Our report sourcing supported research by Cohen, Rouen and Sachdeva, published in Nature Climate Change (2026): Widespread revisions of self-reported emissions by major US corporations. The authors document frequent revisions to companies’ historical emissions figures. Their study illustrates why access to original reports across years matters: researchers can examine what companies first disclosed and how those figures changed.

Can you check my company list before I order?

Yes, please do. Send your company list, any identifiers you have, and the years you need. We check coverage before quoting and tell you where the gaps are. To fill those gaps, you can add Coverage Assurance to orders of 1,000 reports or more. It’s quoted separately and isn’t covered by the academic discount.

How do I get the academic discount?

Researchers, PhD students and university staff get 30% off. Mention your university when you ask for a quote, or ask us for a discount code for the Download Portal.

Is there support for students with a limited budget?

Yes. Bachelor’s and master’s students can apply for our Student Scholarship: up to $500 in Download Portal credits for a thesis or research project.

Can my library buy a package and handle procurement?

Yes. We quote to your scope and can work with purchase orders, vendor forms and whatever paperwork your library needs. Just tell us early, as procurement can take a while.

Can I cite the data source in my paper?

Yes, please cite SustainabilityReports.com as your data source. We’re happy to help document the metadata and methodology, and to answer reviewer questions.
