Overview

The report expands CME Group's ESG disclosure through SASB reporting, more comprehensive carbon emissions reporting and EEO-1 data. It reports 2021 gross emissions of 161 MT CO2E for Scope 1, 19,812 MT CO2E for location-based Scope 2 and 146,785 MT CO2E for location-based Scope 3, while also presenting market-based figures. The company launched Sustainable Clearing and two voluntary carbon-offset tools, and extended inclusive leadership training globally to all employees.
