Annual Report

The report describes Coats' response to Covid while advancing its sustainability strategy. It reports a 20% reduction in absolute GHG emissions compared with 2018, renewable energy at 31% of energy used, and overall ZDHC effluent-and-sludge compliance of 74%. The report also records that 40% of the Board was female and that 14 employees died after contracting Covid outside the workplace. Coats states that it signed up to the SBTi's 1.5°C ambition and made a longer-term commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
