Social Responsibility Report

The report covers Coca-Cola Hellenic's 2008 operations across 28 countries and highlights a group of 48,683 employees. It reports 889,311 tonnes of direct operational CO2 emissions, a wider carbon footprint of 4.5 million tonnes, and renewable energy equal to 8% of total energy consumption. Water use totaled 29,535 million litres, while 78% of production waste was recycled or recovered. Workplace safety remained a major challenge: 25 fatalities were recorded, comprising 12 employees and 13 contractors.
