Overview

The report describes Codelco's 2019 sustainability performance across safety, climate, resource management, ethics, communities, and governance. It highlights the lowest accident rates in the Corporation's history, while reporting one fatality at El Teniente. Environmental disclosures include 4,393,761 TCO2e of total emissions, 48.21 PJ of energy consumption, 76.7% water recirculation, and 300,927 tons of solid waste. The report follows the comprehensive GRI option and reproduces KPMG's limited independent review.
