Annual Report

The report describes CMC's FY2024 as a year of tougher vehicle-market conditions: group revenue rose 1.6% to $1,012.9m, while trading profit after tax fell 41% to $17.9m. It presents the company's first Group emissions inventory, reporting 2,554 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions and 297 tCO2e of Scope 2 emissions, measured in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. The company also reports climate scenario analysis and Board oversight, while stating it has not yet considered an emissions-reduction target and is still planning Scope 3 measurement.
