Overview

The report describes CIB's 2017 sustainability approach, including GRI Core reporting, stakeholder materiality work and a board-reviewed social and environmental credit-risk framework. It reports 6,583 employees and highlights S&E training, women's workforce participation and employee learning. Environmental actions include a bank-wide LED transformation, carpooling and renewable-energy initiatives, while the CIB Foundation funded child-focused projects. Dcarbon provided reasonable assurance for ecological disclosures and limited assurance for social investment, procurement and employee well-being.
