Annual Report

The report describes 2007 as a year of profitable growth, with Group revenue of £10,268m, operating profit of £529m and free cash flow of £357m. It presents the Corporate Responsibility Committee of the Board as overseeing health, safety, environment, business conduct, employee engagement, diversity and community investment. The company also reports over 360,000 employees and a 99% global reach for its Speak Up programme. Environmental measurement was being established through a web-based tool covering the Top Ten countries, with results planned for future CSR reporting.
