The report highlights 2021 investments that improved energy efficiency, including air-compressor renewal, LED lighting, heat pumps and waste-heat recovery. It reports total energy consumption of 77.2 GWh and waste generation of 17,369 tonnes, with around 94.6% delivered for recovery. The company also introduced a Group-level occupational safety application, while its accident frequency was 68 accidents per million hours worked and its 2021 target of fewer than 30 was not achieved.
