Report overview

The report is CoreCivic's first ESG report covering 2018. Its materiality assessment identified five focus areas and 26 key topics. ESG goals were integrated into strategic planning, and a portion of senior-management bonuses was tied to ESG-related business goals. Environmental reporting was still developing, with strategic energy management begun in late 2018 and environmental targets expected in future reports.
