Annual Report

The report describes Costain's 2008 performance across corporate responsibility, safety and environmental management. It reports a third BITC Corporate Responsibility Index assessment, a Group Accident Frequency Rate of 0.17, and 45 RoSPA safety awards. Environmental highlights include diverting 58% of total waste from landfill and setting a 5% reduction target for measured carbon dioxide emission streams.
