Annual Report

The report presents Costain's 2010 operational and financial performance together with an integrated Corporate Responsibility review. It highlights a 27% reduction in measured carbon emissions, 84% diversion of generated waste from landfill and strong health and safety management. The company also reports 1,937 employees participating in training and 6,113 training days delivered. Financially, revenue was £1,022.5 million including the Group's share of joint ventures and associates, with profit before tax of £27.9 million.
