Annual Report

The report describes Costain's fourth year of combined Financial and Corporate Responsibility reporting and the launch of the Costain Cares approach. It reports a 35% reduction in measured carbon emissions compared with 2010 and retains a 50% reduction target by 2020 against a 2008 baseline. Waste diverted from landfill reached 89% in 2011, while the report also records fatalities involving one subcontractor employee and four Costain employees.
