ESG Report

The report presents Costain Group's 2021 ESG performance across environment, social and governance, including its TCFD climate-risk disclosure and commitment to become net zero carbon by 2035 at the latest. Reported 2021 emissions were 17,064 Metric tons of CO2e/year for Scope 1 and 30,945 Metric tons of CO2e/year for Scope 3, while waste diverted from landfill exceeded 98%. Social highlights include circa 3,500 employees and 38% female representation on the Board.
