Overview

The report presents CRH's 2014 sustainability performance across health and safety, environmental management, governance, and people and community. Highlights include 93% of locations being accident-free, 10.3m tonnes of Scope 1 CO2 emissions, 23.2 TWh of group energy use, and 76,000 employees. CRH also reports a 25% reduction target for specific net cement CO2 emissions by 2020 against 1990 levels. The report was independently assured by DNV GL, with limited assurance over reliability and performance data.
