Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents CRH's 2016 sustainability performance across climate, safety, energy, water, waste, employees and governance. It reports 87,000 employees, 24.7m tonnes of Scope 1 CO2 emissions, 2.5m tonnes of Scope 2 emissions and a 25% specific net CO2 reduction target by 2020. The report also discloses three employee and three contractor fatalities, follows GRI G4 comprehensive requirements and includes independent limited assurance by DNV GL.
