Sustainability Performance Report

Overview

The report describes CRH's 2022 sustainability performance across decarbonisation, circularity, water, environmental management, people and responsible business. SBTi validated revised targets equating to a 30% reduction in group-wide gross Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2030, while total energy use was 54.5 TWh. CRH also recycled 42.4 million tonnes of wastes and by-products and reported five work-related fatalities, reinforcing the focus on safety and zero harm.
