Sustainability Performance Report

Overview

The report presents CRH's 2023 sustainability performance across water, circularity, decarbonization, natural world, people and responsible business. The company completed its first double materiality assessment and reports a group-wide target to reduce absolute Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 30% by 2030 from a 2021 base year. It also reports 153 billion litres of water recycled at its operations and 43.9 million tonnes of by-products and wastes recycled. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI, includes SASB and TCFD disclosures, and selected indicators received limited independent assurance from DNV.
