Overview

The report presents CSPC's 2021 CSR performance across governance, workforce, safety, climate and environmental management. It reports 24,746 employees at 31 December 2021 and zero workplace deaths in 2021. Group GHG emissions were 1,181,000 tCO2e, comprising Scope 1 of 580,318 and Scope 2 of 600,682. The report also sets a 40% reduction target for GHG emissions per unit of revenue by 2022 against 2017, within a longer 50% target by 2025.
