Overview

The report describes CSPC's 2023 ESG performance across governance, innovation, people, environment and community welfare. It reports 23,480 employees and a board with 15 members, including one female director, alongside a three-tier ESG management model led by the board. Environmental highlights include completion of the 2019-2025 phased reduction targets and comprehensive carbon audits of major emitting enterprises. The Group also invested RMB4.83 billion in R&D, expanded access to medicines, and donated RMB 97.4 million to external parties while assisting 121,000 people.
