Overview

The report presents Dabur's 2013-14 sustainability initiatives across environmental management, employee welfare, human rights and community development. Across Indian manufacturing units, it reports reductions of 11% in water consumption, 3% in energy consumption and 52% in SOx release despite increased production. Dabur had set a 35% GHG reduction target by 2015 against a 2011-12 baseline. Its Bio-Resource Development programme covered 15 states, over 997 acres and 1,066 beneficiary farmers.
