Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes how the Dai-ichi Life Group selected 11 priority issues from 50 social issues derived from the SDGs. It reports fiscal 2018 group CO2 emissions of approximately 155,300t and sets operating-company reduction targets of 40% by fiscal 2030 and 70% by fiscal 2050 against fiscal 2013. The Group also reports third-party assurance review of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions. Its sustainability approach combines QOL improvement, health promotion, community initiatives, ESG investment and climate-related risk management.
