Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report is NORDEN's first annual Communication on Progress under the UN Global Compact, describing its 2009 CSR policies, activities and results. The company reports about 1.9 million tonnes of CO2 emissions from operated vessels in 2009 and says its 14-point plan was effective in about 60% of owned-fleet ship months. It also reports no pirate attacks against any NORDEN-owned vessel and continued initiatives on safety, welfare and environmental performance.
