Annual Report

The report describes NORDEN’s first general CSR policy and its first CSR report as a Communication on Progress for the UN Global Compact. It estimates that 2010 measures increased energy efficiency on owned vessels by an amount equivalent to a 4.7% CO2 reduction, while MOEPS reduced CO2 and SOX emissions by an estimated 16% on vessels it operated. NORDEN reports estimated emissions of 2.0 million tonnes of CO2 from all vessels it operated and notes its inclusion in the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index 2010.
