Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes DBS's 2020 sustainability agenda across responsible banking, responsible business practices and social impact, including a sustainable financing target of SGD 50 billion by 2024 and a net-zero operational carbon commitment by 2022. It reports 21% renewable energy in the broader GRI energy boundary, 98,507 MWh of total energy consumption, 54,724 tCO2e of total emissions and 29,148 employees. The report also covers financial inclusion, employee well-being, sustainable procurement and community support during the pandemic. Selected sustainability information was subject to an independent limited assurance engagement by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
