Sustainability Report

The report presents DCC's first structured approach to identifying and prioritising sustainability aspects across the Group, focusing on direct economic value added, climate change, health and safety, and business ethics. It reports €6,400m of revenue and €487m of value added for the year ended 31 March 2009, alongside payroll costs for approximately 7,200 employees. The Group-wide Carbon Management Plan uses Greenhouse Gas Protocol methodology and identifies transport as the largest reported source of carbon emissions. The report also describes formal health and safety management systems and business-level KPI reporting.
