Overview

The report presents 2017 as the Lufthansa Group's most successful year, with total revenue of EUR 35,579 million and 129,424 year-end employees. Group aircraft CO2 emissions rose to 30.4 million tonnes, mainly because Brussels Airlines was fully consolidated, although fuel-saving and fleet-efficiency measures reduced the increase. The combined non-financial report covers environmental, employee, anti-corruption, human-rights, social, and supply-chain topics. It is based on the GRI Standards 2016 and received voluntary limited assurance under ISAE 3000.
