Overview

The report is DFCC Bank's maiden sustainability report, covering product innovation, environmental responsibility, educational advancement, community investment and employee empowerment. It describes responsible lending and an internal environmental management system, including financing for renewable-energy projects and 136.2 MW of completed grid-connected mini-hydro capacity. The company also launched a nationwide Six-S school programme with Sri Lanka's Ministry of Education in January 2009.
