Sustainability & Responsibility Report

The report describes Diageo's 2012 sustainability and responsibility performance across its global operations. It highlights a 9.4% absolute carbon-emissions reduction despite increased production, progress toward water, waste and packaging targets, and 24 sites sending no waste to landfill. The report also records one work-related employee fatality and the introduction of a Severe and Fatal Incident Prevention programme. KPMG provided limited assurance over selected environmental, materiality and GRI disclosures.
