The report describes 5% net sales growth in 2013, supported by the US spirits business and continued double-digit growth in emerging markets. It also reports a 4% year-on-year decrease in greenhouse gas emissions and a 26% reduction in absolute emissions since 2007. Diageo’s Water of Life programme provided access to safe water for approximately one million people during the year.
