Sustainability & Responsibility Report

The report describes Diageo's 2013 sustainability performance across alcohol in society, water and the environment, socio-economic development, governance and ethics, people and the value chain. It reports a 26.3% reduction in total carbon emissions against the 2007 baseline, a reduction in total water use to 23,751 (1,000s m3), and total waste of 756,369 tonnes, including 733,352 tonnes reused or recycled. The report also records four work-related fatalities and reproduces KPMG's limited assurance report over selected disclosures.
