Overview

The report presents Digital Realty's 2019 environmental, social and governance performance across operational resilience, energy, climate, workforce and community programs. It reports Scope 1, location-based Scope 2, market-based Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions, alongside 6,904,262 MWh of total energy consumption. Renewable-energy efforts included more than 605,000 MWh generated by operational virtual power purchase agreements. DNV GL independently assured selected 2019 emissions, energy and water metrics.
