Overview

The report sets out Digital Realty's 2030 science-based carbon reduction targets: a 68% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by area and a 24% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by area, against a 2018 baseline. For 2020, it reports 8,589,399 MWh of energy consumption and substantial renewable-energy procurement, including 556 MW of new solar and wind under contract. ESG oversight sits with the Board's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and the report includes independent assurance by DNV over selected emissions, energy, and water data.
